We provide many important services for our clients and their families in the the greater Drogheda area. Our services include:

Driver's Service

Clients travelling for hospital appointments and treatment, both locally and in the greater Dublin area, can be collected from their homes by a volunteer driver and brought to and from their appointment.

Specialist Homecare Services

Drogheda Hospice Homecare can supply a range of specialist equipment for clients for use in their homes, including hospital beds for end of life care. Comfort care services can be provided by prior arrangement with the Public Health Nurse.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Due to unprecedented demand in the local community, we are currently updating our volunteer driver service. Our charity can only provide services for cancer patients and we find ourselves getting calls from clients who are self-referring looking for a driver for non-cancer related appointments. Therefore, going forward, we must request a clinical referral from oncology for new patients to be added to our books. A simple email from oncology/haematology with the client's name, address and phone number requesting a driver will be sufficient.
